The rounded rectangular dished top above a plain frieze and a shaped apron, the front and reverse centred by a scallop-shell, on cabriole legs headed by acanthus, on faceted pad feet, restorations and replaced glue blocks to the underside of the top, with 19th Century black varnish

Lot Essay

This centre table has several Irish characteristics, including the squared club foot, elongated knee scrolls, and a shaped apron centred by Venus's shell.
