Broadsheet (566 x 422mm). 45 engraved plates, 42 finely hand-coloured, most heightened with gold, after P. and J. Stephanoff and others. (Some light marginal finger-soiling to margins, title and dedication leaf creased, the title with slight tears along creases.) Contemporary red half morocco, spine gilt with black morocco lettering-piece, gilt edges (extremities scuffed, covers slightly soiled).

Second complete edition. This sumptuous work was begun by Sir George Nayler, completed after his death by Henry Bohn, and first published in 1837.
