The wooden saddle frame decorated in gold takamakie and hiramakie with a design of peonies and foliage on a gold nashiji ground, retaining its kagami-shihote loops for attaching the harness, with a pair of iron stirrups similarly decorated, fur and gilt leather shitagura and aori, and partially gilt black leather kurashiki [saddle pad], some old damage
Saddle 14½in. (37cm.) long and stirrups approx. 11¾in. (30 cm.) long
