Edo Period (17th Century)
Decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt on underglaze blue, the centre with tsuru-kame and sho-chiku-bai by a river, the rim decorated with two karashishi within shaped panels on a ground of brocade and peony blossom, the reverse with three chrysanthemum branches, some old wear and rubbing to the enamels and gilding
