Decorated in iroe hiramakie, takamakie, hirame, togidashi and kirikane, the cover with a shed among trees by a river, with a wooden bridge in a montainous and cloudy landscape, the inside cover with an ox and stylised clouds, the sides similarly decorated with a mill, a waterwheel and a rice field with wooden bells to frighten birds, the inside of the trays in mura-nashiji, the upper tray encasing a metal suiteki and an ink slate, some old damage
