incised and decorated with bats in flight amongst cloud scrolls -- 30¾in. (78cm.) high, incised Jiajing six-character mark to rim; and a large late Cantonese jardinere, painted and gilt with panels of ladies and dignitaries on terraces and in fenced gardens and birds and butterflies amongst fruit and flower sprays, the interior with goldfish swimming amongst aquatic weeds -- 25in.
