Maker's mark of George Ashworth, Sheffield, 1800
The circular frame supported by four reeded supports, each on paw foot, and headed by scroll flanked lion's mask, the four stretchers centering flat topped platform, topped by lion couchant, the supports each issuing detachable scroll supported circular frame, all with corded rims, with cut glass bowls (one sweetmeat dish a later replacement), the epergne--10in. (25.4cm.) high, the silver 33oz.
