The present animal would appear to be one of only two known examples of this model. The other, marginally larger but with far less vegetation on the tree-stump, was deaccessioned from the Porzellansammlung, Dresden and sold by Rudolph Lepke, Berlin, 7-8 October 1919, lot 97. Cf.
