The drum-shaped case modelled with a marble nimbus to one side surmounted by a gilt-bronze figure of Cupid reaching out to a standing Venus with one breast exposed, on breakfront oval base with beaded gallery and six hairy paw feet, with white enamel Roman dial (damage to winding hole), the associated single chain fusee movement with later lever escapement, the cut-out backplate signed L.
