The case surmounted by an urn finial (detached) to the breakarch top, with putti caryatid figures supporting columns to the sides, the breakfront plinth centred by a porcelain panel painted with the portrait of a lady, the dial decorated with individual Roman chapters and scene to the centre, spade hands (one lacking), the twin barrel movement with strike on bell, stamped WARTENBERG on the backplate
