The case with brass carrying handle to the inverted bell top and fretwork panel to the front, replaced pineapple finials to the corners, breakarch glazed panels to the sides, on brass bracket feet, the dial with winged cherub mask spandrels, signed on the silvered chapter ring Francis Raynsford LONDON, matted centre with ringed winding holes, date and mock pendulum apertures with engraved hatched borders, strike/silent lever above XII, with silvered regulation ring to the arch amidst foliate scroll and bird engraving, the five pillar twin wire fusee movement with verge escapement, strike on bell and pull quarter repeat on a nest of five bells, the backplate elaborately engraved with foliate scrolls; case with restorations
