A 12-inch (32cm.) diameter celestial globe made up of twelve hand coloured engraved gores, showing numerous decorative constellation figures, lightly varnished, with metal axis, graduated brass meridian circle and hour ring (lacking pointer), mounted in a hexagonal four-legged stand, the papered horizon supported by four outsplayed legs, cross supports and centre post -- 22in. (55.9cm.) high
