Ink, gold paint and colors on imitation vellum, 42 leaves, 355 x 246 mm. Bound in original painted cloth-backed boards, spine worn and slightly damaged. Fine calligraphic vocalized Hebrew script, text framed by delicately executed, colorful ornamental borders filled with flora and foliage, various animals, zodiacal signs, Stars of David, and Jerusalem landscapes and sites; all executed in the style characteristic of the Bezalel School of Arts and Crafts. -- PRINTED BOOKS: CHAGALL, MARC.
