A LOUIS XV WOOD-LINED GOLD AND ENAMEL BONBONNIÈRE
Paris, 1762-1768, with the charge and discharge of Jean-Jacques Prevost

Circular box, the independent cover centered by a circular enamel depicting two putti seated on clouds and playing with floral swags, painted en grisaille against a pink background, within a frame chased with trailing foliage, the lid, sides and base of burnished gold within faceted gold mounts, the cover and base furthermore bordered by engraved laurel bands, the base centered by a chased gold rosette, the interior of wood -- 70 mm diam.
