Geneva, circa 1815, maker's mark SC with an arrow between
Rectangular box of octagonal section, the cover, sides and base with opaque blue champlevé enamel decorated with wavy gold bands, the corners of the canted front and rear sides stamped with floral scrolls and pine cones on a matted gold band, all framed by black enamel bands, blue enamelled slightly raised thumbpiece
