Geneva, circa 1820, maker's mark SC with an arrow between
Rectangular box with rounded corners, the cover stamped with a lion's head and two amoretti holding a floral swag and two laurel crowns, and with garlands and scrolling foliage on a frosted ground surrounded by blue enamelled shaped crescents and flowers, the sides and base enamelled with opaque blue panels decorated with pierced gold bands, that on the base framed by an engine-turned leaf border, the four side corners stamped with scrolling foliage enamelled in opaque blue on a matted ground
