Rectangular box with rounded corners, the lid inset with a rectangular enamel plaque painted with two angels in clouds studying a sheet of music, within a blue enamel border, surrounded by a sablé band enamelled en basse-taille in blue with trailing foliage and flowers within a blue enamel border, the similarly framed sides and base with panels engraved with a scalework pattern with leavy centres
