Geneva, circa 1780, with prestige marks
Oval box, the cover, four side panels and base enamelled in translucent green on an engine-turned money pattern ground scattered with pellets, within white enamelled borders, the cover centred by an oval enamel plaque depicting Mercury and Venus teaching Cupid, the matted gold borders of the miniature, lid and base set with green enamelled leavy garlands twisted with gold ribbons alternating with pink enamelled pellets, the four side pilasters decorated with green emamelled swags and pink pellets
