8° (219 x 140mm). Eight half-tone plates, three of these with Vita Sackville-West as subject. (Light scattered spotting on edges, preliminary leaves and index.) Original orange cloth, spine titled in gilt, original illustrated dust-jacket printed in black (dust-jacket spine ends chipped, small chips and short tears at corners and edges, light soiling, endpapers lightly browned). Author's signature in purple ink on the front endpaper.

FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, IN DUST-JACKET, SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Orlando questions traditional conceptions of gender, and is now regarded as a classic text of feminist fiction. ABPC records no signed or inscribed copy of this edition having sold at auction since 2001. Kirkpatrick A11b.
