Cast with a horizontal row of eight oil-cup holders set along the base, raised on four feet, to the right extends a projecting branch with an additional cup for the Shamash, the scalloped and openwork backplate rises in an elaborate symmetrical design of scrolling tendrils and foliate motifs, surmounted by stylized exotic birds in mirror-image arrangement
