我们的可持续发展三大元素

COMMIT

We pledge to reduce carbon emissions 50% by 2030 from our 2019 base year followed by reaching net-zero and reducing carbon emissions 90% by 2050.

We will reduce our carbon emissions by 90% across all emission scopes, aligning with climate science to keep global temperature rises to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. We have committed to the Science Based Target initiative to ensure we have a rigorous framework to help us on our journey. View here for the formal letter approval from SBTi.
We will launch a series of programmes designed to reduce our carbon across all of our main areas of operational activity. From now on, the lens of sustainability will inform how our buildings are powered; how artworks are packed, transported, presented and marketed; and how often we travel.
We will divert 90% of our waste from landfill.
We will provide all clients with packaging and printed products that are both high quality and 100% recyclable.
In December 2021 Christie’s became the first auction house to have our targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a global coalition that promotes best practice and independently assesses and approves companies’ emissions targets in line with strict criteria. It is a collaboration between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

2021年，我们在全球拍卖市场中开创了NFT（非同质化代币）拍卖的先河，并首次接受了加密货币的支付方式。因此，我们正式委托可持续发展合作伙伴埃森哲（Accenture）为2021年的NFT相关项目进行生命周期评估，并测量相关的温室气体排放量。2021 年7月，佳士得于纽约举行艺术科技峰会，持续开启可持续发展的重要对话，探讨新兴科技在艺术世界的角色和影响，并重点讨论区块链技术及创意新方案对环境的积极影响。

我们已经加入画廊气候联盟（GCC），这是一个由伦敦画廊主及业界人士义务成立的非赢利组织。联盟旨在帮助艺术界减少对气候的影响，并对日趋增长的气候危机做出艺术界独有的有意义的回应。
