Christie’s is proud to announce Henry Moore’s King and Queen as a leading highlight of our 20th and 21st Century Art auction series.

One of the artist’s most celebrated works and the only example of this masterpiece in private hands, it’s a quintessential expression of Moore’s post-war sculptures, exploring themes of power, intimacy and human presence.

Complementing this historic masterwork, Modern Visionaries: The Vanthournout Collection brings together works assembled over six decades by Roger and Josette Vanthournout, spanning nearly 150 years of artistic innovation from Surrealism and Dadaism to the post-war avant-garde. Highlights include René Magritte, Henry Moore, Lucio Fontana and Yayoi Kusama.
