This June, Christie’s Paris invites you to discover two Old Master Paintings and Sculpture sales.

The works trace the evolution of European painting, from the beginning of the 16th Century with artists such as the Master of the Female Half‑Lengths and the brothers Pieter and Jan Brueghel, through to the dramatic intensity of the Baroque and the Caravaggesque tradition, represented by Jan van Bronchorst and Guido Reni, and into the insouciant 18th Century with vedute by Pietro Bellotti. The Neoclassical tradition is strong in the online sale, with two works executed for the Prix de Rome, and works that highlight the 19th Century fascination for Dante.

Later in the month, the sale of works from the Château de Tournay extends this rich offering, presenting a refined group of French and Italian masterworks.
