Hermès Quelle Idole

A playful take on the Kelly, the Hermès Quelle Idole is instantly recognisable for its whimsical, doll-like design. Introduced in the 2000s, the original edition featured supple leather and palladium hardware, before being discontinued in 2005. Revived in 2008 with exclusive colour combinations, the design evolved again in 2022 with the Quelle Idole Picto — a pixel-inspired interpretation of the bag’s anthropomorphic form, which introduced geometric lines alongside a shoulder strap and a detachable mini backpack pouch.

Also known as the Kelly Doll, the Quelle Idole pairs Hermès craftsmanship with a distinctly joyful character that continues to appeal to collectors — in May 2025, Christie’s sold an exceptionally rare Hermès Special Order Quelle Idole for HK$2.5 million, setting a world auction record for the model.
