Shakespeare: The Four Folios

The first collected editions of Shakespeare’s plays, known as the four Folios, are among the most important printed works in literary history: without them, as many as 18 of Shakespeare’s plays might have been lost. To commemorate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, this unique sale will offer a copy of each of the first four editions, dating between 1623 and 1685, including a hitherto unknown copy of the First Folio.
