Large contemporary print of Susan B. Anthony’s official portrait.
This photograph was taken in Lochland, NY (near Rochester and Seneca Falls where Anthony lived and work) in November 1905, only four months before her death. It was later chosen as the official portrait for the Susan B. Anthony Memorial Association, to which Hale donated the copyright in 1907.
