A CARVED AND PIERCED IVORY BRISÉ FAN
LATE 18TH CENTURY, CIRCA 1790
The fan is decorated to one side with a central oval crest with a helm and stag's head, enclosing a monogram reading 'EJ'. The crest is surrounded by various figures including officials, musicians, ladies and attendants.
