By 1922 the famous Model T "Tin Lizzie" had been in continuous development for fourteen years and, indeed, passed the one million mark for the vehicle's manufacture - its rugged design incorporating the sturdy four cylinder 20hp side-valve engine in the light 100" wheelbased chassis frame.

This particular example was the subject of some major restoration some twenty five years ago, since which time it has been dry-stored in a barn until recently being re-discovered. It comprises a complete rolling chassis, with engine and gearbox and all ancillaries installed; wings, running boards, radiator, bonnet, scuttle, petrol tank are all fitted, whilst other important items also included consist of headlights, sidelights, trembler coils and folding windscreen. New tyres have recently been fitted to the artillery-spoked wheels. According to information supplied by the vendor, the engine appears sound and turns over and all gears and brake mechanisms are in working order. We understand that the registration number is currently under review for re-allocation to this vehicle and a V5 form has been applied for.

A good, sound basis for a straightforward restoration project for the winter months. Possibly even the millionth "Tin Lizzie"!
