Tibet, 18th century
Seated on a horse and holding a spear and khatvanga in his outstretched hands, dressed in a billowing robe and equipped with a sword, bow and quiver, the wrathful face with bared fangs, bulging eyes and flaming brows surmounted by a skull tiara, backed by an aureole of flames, with Vajrapani above on a lotus base and diminutive attendants on horseback below, a red female deity leading the horse by its reins and a small elephant at right
