A bronze figure of Padmapani
Swat Valley, 7th century
Seated in lalitasana on a lion throne set atop a lotus base, his left hand holding a lotus stalk and his right raised to his shoulder, wearing a long dhoti secured at his waist by a belt, a shawl around his shoulders, adorned by jewelry, his face in a benign expression with incised eyes and lips, his hair arranged in a high chignon secured by a tall crown centered by Amitabha
