The current figure is laden with intricate jewels, in a style that is reminiscent of a qingbai Guanyin of Yuan period in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, accession number: 51.166. Also compare to a similar Dehua figure with a mark of Xu Youyuan, and seated on a lotus base, sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong, 26-27 October 1993, lot 69.
