A FAMILLE ROSE PETAL-LOBED LANDSCAPE BOWL
JIAQING FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON RED WITHIN A SQUARE AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The sides are molded with two rows of overlapping petals that rise to the gilded, petal-lobed rim, and are decorated with a scene entitled Xuting yanliu (Misty Willow of the Xu Pavilion), one of the ten famous scene of Jiangxi. A lengthy inscription describing the scene, prefaced and followed by iron-red seals, is written in black on the reverse.
7¼ in. (18.5 cm.) diam.
