A fine 21-Bore D.B. Flintlock Sporting Gun

With Continental browned twist barrels formed with raised longitudinal ribs, signed 'Bond. London' on the central rib, and with silver fore-sight, the breeches each stamped 'EX' and with punched and engraved decoration retaining some of its original gilding, finely engraved grooved case-hardened tang, engraved case-hardened flat locks each with gold-lined maker's stamp, roller, blued steel-spring, rainproof pan, and original blued finish on the internal working parts, varnished figured walnut half-stock (minor scratches and bruises), chequered grip, finely engraved iron mounts including scroll trigger-guard, case-hardened trigger-plate with large pineapple finial, silver escutcheon engraved with owner's coat-of-arms, single sling mount, horn-tipped bone ramrod with worm, and most of its original finish, the right barrel marked 'MP' on the underside
