LATE 19TH CENTURY, THE FIGURAL GROUP CAST AFTER A MODEL BY KARL STERRER (1844-1918)
Comprising a clock and two seven-light candelabra, the clock surmounted by a dancing bacchante and putto signed 'K. Sterrer' to the base, with twin barrel movement and cylinder platform escapement and rack striking to bell, the movement stamped 'F. SEDLAK/WIEN', the candelabra with scrolling foliate-form branches, all on paw feet and shaped plinths
The clock: 22 ¾ in. (58 cm.) high; 13 ¾ in. (35 cm.) wide; 8 ¾ in. (22 cm.) deep
The candelabra: 28 ¼ in. (72 cm.) high
