The kettle, bullet-shaped, with leaf-capped fluted spout, the double-scroll reed-wrapped swing handle with shell and scroll terminals, the slightly domed hinged cover with artichoke finial, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms and crest within foliate scroll mantling, the stand on three foliage-capped double scroll and shell feet, with reeded borders, pierced with slats, pellets and tulips, with applied cast and chased apron of female masks in shells, the central circular warming-stand with detachable reeded cover, engraved with a crest, marked under foot and cover of kettle, and on base and cover of stand, base of kettle also prick-engraved with initials R*A S and with scratchweight 56=15
