The connection with Argand and Co. started with the two sharing the same premises at 37 Bruton Street, London from about 1805. Bright seems to have taken over the Argand business in about 1825, (Temple Newsham House, 'Country House Lighting 1660-1890', Exhibition Catalogue, 1992, no. 72)
