The case of architectural form, with pilasters and mock brickwork, the square brass dial with winged cherub mask spandrels to a silvered chapter ring with matted centre, the twin barrel movement with ting-tang strike on two gongs, with stamp to the backplate for Winterhalder & Hofmeier -- 16½in. (42cm.) high
