SECOND QUARTER 19TH CENTURY, SPURIOUS MANGANESE INTERLACED L'S, L AND M MARKS
The lobed stand painted with a youth and companion in wooded landscape within a shaped gilt cartouche below a pierced gilt-metal mounted insert, within an engraved scroll frame and bracket support, the lobed oval dish with a loose bouquet of fruit and flowers to the centre, the well with vignettes of exotic birds
The watch stand 6.1/2 in. (16.2 cm.) high overall
The oval dish 8.5/8 in. (21.8 cm.) wide
