The upper part modelled as a youth, 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) high; a terracotta figure of Harpocrates standing with jar under his left arm, 6¼ in. (15.8 cm.) high; another standing terracotta figure of a wet nurse, 5¾ in. (14.5 cm.) high; a terracotta relief head of Serapis, 2½ in. (6.4 cm.) high, all circa 2nd Century B.C./1st Century A.D.; a fragmentary terracotta female tambourine player, circa 6th-5th Century B.C., 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) high; and a terracotta female head, traces of painted gesso, circa 8th-7th Century B.C., 2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high (6)
Provenance
In the collection of the present owner's grandfather, Jakob Koller, who lived in Egypt in the late 19th and early 20th Century.
