A HUANGHUALI TWO-DRAWER ALTAR COFFER, LIANERCHU

With two-panel top set within a rectangular frame with everted flanges, supported on wide legs of square section flanked by reticulated shaped spandrels carved on the front with chilong holding leafy branches of lingzhi, set with two drawers above a pair of doors fitted flush around a removable center stile above a shaped, beaded apron carved with interlocked leafy scroll, the hinges and lock plates cast from huangtong
36 in. (92.2 cm.) high, 45 in. (115 cm.) wide, 21 3/8 in. (54.3 cm.) deep
