Of translucent, brilliant green tone with splashes of rich green throughout, Qing dynasty
With certificate JC 11599 dated 16/9/97 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory Ltd. stating that the ring is of natural colour jadeite and no polymer is detected
Ring 28.35 x 23.65 x 4.66 mm.
Ring size 9 1/4
The more delicate proportions of this ring may be an indication of greater age as dated 18th century rings have these proportions. Cf. The set of Imperial archer's rings sold in these rooms, "The Imperial Sale", 27 April 1997
