Each recessed panel painted by J.G. Höroldt with half-length figures, with a couple playing cards, a servant carrying a tray, a figure beside an oven, a couple at a table, a man holding a shroud and at a desk, before rocky outcrops and beneath cloudy skies with birds and insects in flight, divided by raised moulded gilt ribs, the circular cover with a gilt rosette, bands and scrollwork (slight wear to gilt shoulders, very slight wear to ribs and cover)
