Kändler, wearing a purple conical hat, white ruff, white jacket with two playing cards and a chequered sleeve, yellow breeches with playing cards and black shoes, holding the bagpipes and seated on a rockwork base (chip to hat brim, restoration to hat and pipe of instrument, left hand restuck at wrist, right little finger lacking, rosette at left knee partially lacking)
