YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)

While a number of Qianlong examples of this design have been published and sold at auction, Yongzheng blue and white examples, such as the present dish, appear to be very rare. A similar Yongzheng example of comparable size is in the S.C. Ko Tianminlou Collection, illustrated by Liu Liang-yu, A Survey of Chinese Ceramics, vol. 5, Taipei, 1991, p. 95.
