A NORTH PERSIAN SGRAFFITO POTTERY DISH

With slightly rounded base and short vertical walls on small central foot, the interior covered with a white slip incised through to the red clay with a central knot motif roundel within a border of arcaded panels between zigzag stripes, the interstices cross-hatched, a band of scrolling designs around the interior walls, the design highlighted with green and manganese splashes, the exterior plain, repaired breaks with slight chipping
