A rare early Baby House rocking cradle
of card, wood and wallpaper, the design printed in black and white on a turquoise ground, with a seperate design of green leaves at the foot, early 1800s --2¼in. (6cm.) long; a wax baby doll with painted features in original gown and bonnet trimmed with pink silk ribands, early 19th century --1½in. (3.5cm.) high (no legs); another dressed as a child with tucked frock and turban edged with blue silk riband, early 19th century --2in. (5cm.) high (no legs); and an English wax child doll with blue bead eyes, remains of blonde mohair wig, stuffed body and wax limbs in original boys white muslin frock edged with red braid and underclothes, mid 19th century --7½in. (19cm.) high (lacks one leg) (4)
