The porcelain, Qing dynasty, late 17th century, the enamel decoration added in Europe, mid-18th century
The tapering body with a pair of molded lion-mask handels applied on either side just below the shoulder, brightly enameled in Kakiemon style with a pair of quail below a flowering prunus on one side and pots of flowers beneath a long-tailed pheasant in flight on the other side
