A ROMAN GOLD PENDANT
CIRCA 1ST CENTURY A.D.
Formed of a sheet disk with a cut out at the base to form a crescent, embellished on both sides with granulation and twisted wire filigree, with a schematic shrine at the center containing a rudimentary figure of mummified Osiris, flanked by uraei, surrounded by a border of filigree plain wires and twisted wires, hemispheres at each end and below the ribbed tubular suspension loop
