A SILVER-MOUNTED AND WOOD TORAH CASE
apparently unmarked, probably Bombay, 1928

Of typical cylindrical form, the exterior totally mounted with silver, embossed and chased all around with a broad band of flowers and foliage on a matted ground, inscribed in Hebrew with a presentation inscription, the onion-shaped domed upper-section fitted with two staves for Rimmonim (one stave aswell as the two Rimmonim are lacking) - 85.5cm high
