A SMALL BLUE AND WHITE MEIPING
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The body is decorated in rich underglaze blue with a broad band of leafy floral scroll bearing two large flowers and buds between a narrow band of two flower sprigs above the foot and leafy meander on the high shoulder below the small neck with lipped rim. An apocryphal Xuande mark is on the countersunk center of the base.
